Dubai is rapidly becoming a favorite destination among holidaymakers, whether that be couples, single travelers, families or business tourists. Burj Khalifa At The Top

The Burj Khalifa is the tallest building on the planet, soaring 2,717 feet (828 meters) high with more than 160 stories set in a stepped design that narrows as it climbs, syringe-like, to the sky. The design is patterned after the repetition of a single geometric shape, meant to echo Islamic art. Bringing a new meaning to the term skyscraper, the building is part of the massive downtown Dubai complex of offices, hotels, shopping malls, entertainment precincts, and apartment buildings. For most visitors, a trip to the observation deck on the 124 th floor here is a must-do while in the city. The views across the city skyline from this bird's-eye perspective are simply staggering. The slick observation deck experience includes a multimedia presentation on both Dubai and the building of the Burj Khalifa (completed in 2010) before a high-speed elevator whizzes you up to the observation deck for those 360-degree views out across the skyscrapers to the desert on one side and the ocean on the other.

Dubai Frame

The UAE’s latest cultural landmark, Dubai Frame is an iconic structure that ‘frames’ impressive views of Old and New Dubai, while serving as a metaphorical bridge connecting the emirate’s rich past with its magnificent present. Miracle Garden

Every year from mid-November to mid-May, a 72,000 sqm space full of scents and colors comes to life. This incredible experience is one of Cityland’s signature creations – Dubai Miracle Garden. It was launched on Valentine’s Day, 2013, and is set in the heart of Dubailand.

Seeing the garden in full bloom with its 150 million flowers arranged in colorful arches and patterns, and the myriad shapes they form, is truly magnificent. Dubai Miracle Garden’s breathtaking landscaping has earned two Guinness World Records for the largest vertical garden in 2013 and world’s largest floral sculpture forming the shape of an Airbus A380 in 2016. Each year Dubai Miracle Garden reinvents itself, as we bring a whole new concept and design experience to our visitors. The community has given its own endorsement with more than 1.5 million visitors per year.

Desert Safari

Experience the magic and mystery of an Arabian desert 4WD tour. The safari will give you the golden opportunity to see the towering sand dunes of the desert as you go on a roller coaster ride on board your all- terrain vehicle. This tour provides a thrilling and fun-filled experience in the most remote desert area known as Lahbab. Experience the skills of your driver as they drive across the rolling sand dunes for a 30-40 minutes.

Stop at the highest dune to watch a desert sunset. Back on board, continue the drive to a Bedouin campsite right in the heart of the desert. When you arrive at camp you will be greeted with Qahwa (Arabic coffee) and dates. Your safari guide will brief you about the various available activities at the camp. You can hop-on the camel for a short ride, smoke a shisha, decorate your hands with Henna tattoos and also can take pictures in traditional Arabic clothes. As the night settles in, enjoy the scrumptious BBQ dinner of kebabs, hummus and salads accompanied by sodas/soft drink and water. Alcoholic drinks are available with additional charges. Enjoy a colorful belly dancing, Fire show and Tanura performance where fast-spinning dancers’ whirl across the stage. Don’t forget to snap some photos with the Arabian falcons that are present at the camp (might be additional charges). Finally, after the last show, you will be drive back to your hotel.

Dhow Cruises – Marina, Canal, Creek

Dhows are traditional sailing vessels that are made from teak wood and have large sails. In the past, they were used as carriers to transport various types of cargo including fruits and other heavy merchandise. But now, dhows have become something more than just transportation vessels; they have been transformed into restaurants that offer the finest dining experience on the water. In the past few years, dhow cruises have become one of the most popular tourist activities in the city, as it offers a unique way to explore Dubai and its major landmarks. The popular areas in Dubai where dhow cruises take place are at Dubai Marina, Dubai Creek, Dubai Festival City and Dubai Creek Harbour with different service standards like starting from 3* food catering to 5* sumptuous buffet setup or preset seated menu.

Love Lakes

Dubai is home to a lot of unique engineering feats. Joining the ranks of the Burj Khalifa, Dubai Canal and Burj Al Arab is a new, man-made lake that take the shape of two gigantic hearts. Visiting the Love Lake has to be the first item on our list of things to do at Al Qudra because of its sheer beauty and remarkable layout. It consists of two lakes carved out in the shape of two intertwined hearts and fauna that spells out the word “Love” – it is, in fact, it is so large that you can see it from Google Earth! It was even voted as one of the top romantic places in Dubai! The Love Lake in Al Qudra is filled with heart motifs and signage that show the best selfie points which is ideal if you are on the lookout for an Insta-worthy shot. There is also a dedicated running tack around the Al Qudra Love Lake. This heart-shaped lake in Dubai also comes fully equipped with shaded areas with fire pits and facilities such as washrooms. And if that isn’t enough, visiting this place is completely free of charge making it one of the best places for an affordable date night ideas.

THE POINTE AT PALM JUMEIRAH

Make your way to The Pointe – a retail and entertainment destination in Dubai that's sure to impress. Located more than four kilometers out to sea at Palm Jumeirah, this is the place to visit for stunning views and irresistible options to shop, dine and play. With more than 80 restaurants, boutiques and attractions to explore, it's easy to spend hours here. Head over and pick up unique souvenirs, let the little ones make the most of the kids' entertainment areas, dine at waterfront restaurants or simply enjoy the latest blockbusters at the dine-in cinema.

Across the bay from Atlantis, The Palm, The Pointe's 1.5km promenade also presents stunning waterside photo opportunities and is the perfect place to take a stroll with fresh air and sea views. LA MER BEACH

When beachfront destinations in Dubai come to mind, there’s no doubt that La Mer Dubai tops the list! Located in Jumeirah 1, this sprawling beachfront venue by Meraas boasts some of the hottest dining, retail and entertainment options! From fun waterparks, licensed restaurants to boutique cinemas, there’s so much to do at La Mer.

La Mer presents the best of sun, sea and outdoor fun in Dubai. A fine addition to the city’s urban beach cred, the inspirational destination features wide open spaces with palm tree-lined boulevards, graffiti art murals and laidback charm. La Mer is sure to become your favorite address to eat, play and unwind.

AL SEEF DUBAI

Located near the iconic Dubai Creek, Al Seef is making its mark on Dubai’s heritage district. Beautiful traditions combine with modern designs at this new destination, as the city showcases an inspiring partnership between its proud past and bright future. Here’s our guide to explore Al Seef. Al Seef Dubai: Where the Old Meets the New — this is the tagline of Al Seef Dubai as it covers a span of about 1.8 km spread into different phases. There’s an area where it’s modern, and there’s an area where you can see wind towers and stones which reflects back to the history of the UAE. It’s really blended well that it’s perfect for a relaxing stroll especially at night.

PALM JUMEIRAH

Dubai is famous for its soaring skyline – and that’s not the only feat of engineering to capture the world’s imagination. Built from reclaimed land in a series of artificial archipelagos, Palm Jumeirah is shaped like a palm tree when viewed from above. The unique island is home to some of Dubai's top luxury resorts, including Atlantis, The Palm, Jumeirah Zabeel Saray, One&Only The Palm and many more. There are fantastic fine dining options, such as Nobu and 101 Dining Lounge, and more than 80 restaurants, lounges and other attractions at The Pointe, located along a scenic promenade at the tip of The Palm. Access is easy, with a network of roads, tunnels and public transport options such as the Palm Monorail. The rail service includes a free car park at the base of the Palm and offers stops at Atlantis, The Palm and Nakheel Mall.

Sailing around Palm Jumeirah in a yacht or speedboat is a popular option, with many private touring companies to choose from. Alternatively, you can admire the boats from Palm Jumeirah Boardwalk, while thrill-seekers can also take to the skies with Skydive Dubai. For a laidback evening, check out Club Vista Mare – a series of restaurants built on a pier that stretches out over the water. Options include signature comfort food at Breeze Beach Grill and fresh seafood with an Arabic twist at Ibn AlBahr. All restaurants offer views of the Arabian Gulf, Dubai skyline and majestic Burj Al Arab.

DUBAI DESIGN DISTRICT (D3)

Dubai's style set put their best foot forward at Dubai Design District, known also as d3. This urban development is dedicated to the fashion industry as well as other types of professional design, and houses design studios, hotels, high-end apartments and a shopping promenade. With more than half of all major international retailers having outlets in Dubai, and a third of all luxury spending in the Middle East occurring in the region, d3 attracts global fashion houses to set up headquarters alongside new businesses. The result? Local inspiration interacts with international influencers to reach new levels of design. Another major draw of d3 for tourists and residents alike are the hip cafes popping up left and right. Try Mediterranean fare at The Lighthouse or enjoy a modern spin on French cuisine at Molecule, where you can rub shoulders with those in the fashion-know.

QURANIC PARK

The newly opened Quranic Park offers a wonderful insight into the Holy Quran, Islam’s holy book. Free to enter for all, there are a variety of surprises spread across the 60-hectare park, which aims to enhance Islamic values of peace, love and tolerance. Discover the different plants mentioned in the holy book or simply take in the lush greens of the Islamic garden. Alternatively, you can stroll through the striking desert- themed or Andalucian gardens too. For a small fee of AED10 each, visitors can also enter the Glass House – home to an inspiring collection of plants mentioned in the religious text – or the Cave of Miracles, which illustrates some of the most remarkable events mentioned in the Quran with the help of interactive technology. Other facilities at the park include cycling and walking paths, an outdoor theatre, artfully- designed solar trees and on-site Wi-Fi.

SHORE EXCURSIONS

Since opening in 1998, the SMCCU has been helping visitors get a better understanding of the culture and customs of the UAE. Seeing the location itself is worth the visit – it’s a beautifully restored wind tower house in the historic Al Fahidi Historical Neighbourhood.

Marina Zip Line

XLINE DUBAI MARINA, the world's longest urban zipline and the only zipline inside the city.Enjoy the thrilling zip ride across Downtown Dubai, and now you can have a second Zipline ride in Dubai Marina, which offers a double dose of fun and excitement. With two parallel lines available, you can choose to experience the thrill together, and ride alongside a friend on the tandem option. Receive photos and videos of your experience to show family and friends.

You’re going to need to hang tight for this one, the Zipline flies over land and water at up to 80km/h, and takes you from 170m down to ground level. All we ask is that you’re between 12 to 65 years of age, taller than 130cm, weigh 50 to 100kg and in good medical health.

Auto drome

Completed in 2004, the Dubai Auto drome was the UAE’s first fully-integrated multipurpose motorsport and entertainment facility. Legoland Dubai (stylized as LEGOLAND Dubai) is a family theme park in Dubai. It opened on October 31, 2016. It is the first Legoland park in the Middle East and was the seventh worldwide. The park is designed for families with children from ages two to 12 years old. The park also provides a variety of rides and activities. Like many other Legoland theme parks, Dubai's includes a Miniland where over 20 million Lego bricks are used to create 15,000 miniature models of different landmarks and structures around the world.

Legoland Dubai has six themed lands: Factory, Lego City, Imagination, Kingdoms, Adventure, and Miniland. Each of the lands have unique rides and scenery built around its respective theme.

IMG World Of Adventure

Wild Wadi Water Park

The Wild Wadi Water Park is an outdoor water park in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. Situated in the area of Jumeirah, next to the Burj Al Arab and the Jumeirah Beach Hotel, the water park is operated by Jumeirah International.

Wild Wadi has a heated/cooled wave pool, multiple water slides and two artificial surfing machines. Another feature of the park is an 18 m (59 ft) waterfall that goes off every ten minutes. The water park also has two gift shops, three restaurants and two snack stands.It was featured in The Amazing Race 5 and The Amazing Race Asia 1, in which teams had to slide down a 21 m (69 ft) drop. It was later featured in The Amazing Race Australia 2.

Ain Dubai, the world’s tallest observation wheel is coming to Dubai. Located off the waters of Dubai Marina area, Bluewaters is split into different areas across residential, retail, leisure and entertainment, hotels and beach clubs. The Ain Dubai or ‘Dubai Eye’ is the centrepiece, expected to attract thousands of visitors every year. The wheel is touted to be taller than the observation wheels in London (135 meters) and Las Vegas (167 metres). Towering at a height of 250 metres, the wheel can carry 1,400 passengers at a time across 48 double-glazed capsules. Six of the capsules will have a licensed bar, while a few others will be decked with a private dining.

You no longer have to travel to London to see the Madamme Tussauds. Dubai will soon get its very own wax museum, nestled on the Bluewaters, the island development off The Beach at JBR. Mohammad Bin Rashid Library

The Mohammed bin Rashid Library, the massive building is said to resemble an open book, placed on a rehl – a lectern which holds the Quran. The seven storeys tall structure is visible from the creek, giving water taxi commuters a sneak peek of its progress. Once complete, the library will have more than 4.5 million printed and e-books, and several arenas and a lecture theatre with a seating capacity of 500.
